Karst Topograghy, Minerve, France.
Karst topography is a geological formation shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock, usually carbonate rock such as limestone or dolomite. Karst topography is characterized by subterranean limestone caverns, carved out by groundwater. Karst landforms are generally the result of mildly acidic water acting on weakly soluble limestone or dolomite.
